The Windows installer is not code-signed yet, so when you open it Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info, then Run anyway. The warning appears because the installer is new to Windows and unsigned, not because Windows found a problem with it.

Install and activate

  1. Open the downloaded installer, Faderhand-1.2.0.pkg on a Mac or Faderhand-1.2.0-Setup.exe on Windows, and follow it.
  2. Open Faderhand in your DAW, or open the Faderhand app from Applications on a Mac or the Start menu on Windows.
  3. Copy the licence key from your purchase e-mail, click Paste, then Activate. Activation needs the internet once; after that Faderhand works offline.
  4. Until it is activated, audio passes through Faderhand unchanged, so a session never breaks.
